Virginia Real Estate Salesperson License – License by Reciprocity Information

July 7, 2014

You are licensed in another state and wish to become licensed in Virginia. Can you apply through reciprocity?

“Yes. Applicants for a salesperson license must (1) pass the State portion of the examination, (2) submit verification of completion of a 60 hour course called “Principles of Real Estate” and (3) submit letters of certification from other jurisdictions where licensed. Also, in order to apply through reciprocity, the salesperson MUST hold a current salesperson license in another state.”

Advanced School of Real Estate is in your corner to assist you in passing the State portion of the Virginia Real Estate Licensing Examination.

If you do not need the full 60-hour Principles of Real Estate course, we offer a 15-hour “Virginia only” portion of the course.  After completing the 15 hours and passing a final exam, you will be issued a Course Completion Certificate for 15 hours of Board-approved Salesperson Pre-License Education.
